The story
A golden banana and a hearty pile of crisp sunflower seeds sat untouched on the tiled patio for twenty-four minutes. The bait went out at eleven-o-two at night, waiting in the dark near the covered grill. Finally, at eleven twenty-six, Scout broke the silence, creeping out of the brush to claim the midnight snack before the rest of Mama Bandit's crew followed.
