ODOR SENTINEL
The Observatory's newly discovered nocturnal specialist! Striped skunks are solitary, peaceful, and highly beneficial insectivores with poor eyesight but an extraordinary sense of smell. They roam during the quietest night hours (01:00 AM – 04:30 AM) hunting beetle grubs, wasp larvae, crickets, and field mice. They only spray as a last-resort defense mechanism after stamping their feet in warning.
