GRACKLE GANG
A boisterous, iridescent flock that passes through in loose, loud groups rather than holding a fixed territory the way the resident Blue Jays do. Great-tailed grackles are highly vocal, opportunistic omnivores that will contest a feeder or a patch of lawn with any resident bird nearby -- a visiting pressure, not a resident.
